CBR 250 Anda Takut Disalip N 250? Gampang Percyakan Pada SM dan WMC
Brader sekalian bila ada sangsi dengan top speed CBR 250 masih kalah sama N 250, maka Sportisi Motorsport (SM) dam WMC Racing siap menyalurkan aspirasi anda. Bayangkan, sebuah CBR 250 versi impor ditebus hanya untuk dijadikan kelinci percoban alias riset menaikkan power CBR 250 oleh dua bengkel tersebut.
Pada bengkel SM, ubahan yang dilakukan fokus pada pelepas gas buang, suplai udara dan pemasangan piggyback. Berikut detail ubahan dari bengkel di Jl. Tenggiri No.4A Rawamangun, Jaktim ini.
Knalpot. Demi melancarkan pembuangan, silencer bawaan motor berpiston 76 mm ini dilepas. Ganti tipe freeflow dengan desain dan volume hasil riset tim SM. Leher tetap aslinya. “Desain dan ukuran sudsh bagus”. Jelas Bram.
Filter. Tutup boks di bawah jok dilepas, lalu dibikinkan dari fiber agar air tak masuk (oleh SM dinamai Power Cover). Tujuannya biar suplai udara yang masuk lebih banyak.
Piggyback. Setelah pengeluaran dan pasokan udara meningkat, demi mengimbanginya suplai bensin diatur ulang. Bram pakai Power Commander V bikinan Dynojet buat me-mapping ulang. “Biar air fuel ratio (AFR) merata di angka sekitar 13,2:1, di semua rentang rpm dan bukaan gas, sehingga power selalu ngisi.” Mapping-nya diisi 2 kurva, pemilihan tinggal pencet tombol di setang. Pengaturan mapping dilakukan di atas dynamometer Dynojet 250i.
Efeknya sangat terasa ketika gas dibejek, badan seakan ketarik ke belakang, jauh lebih mantap dibanding standar. Pntas saja, karena saat di-dyno tercatat torsi mencapai 22,22 Nm/6.250 rpm dan tenaga mencapai 23,72 dk/8.400 rpm. Naik lumayan jauh dari standar yang hanya 19,81 Nm/7.600 rpm dan 22,25 dk/8.500 rpm.
Sementara WMC Racing selain bebrapa hal di atas juga melakukan ubahan pada sektor silinder, dengan melancarkan intake dan outputnya, ditambah mengurangi paking yang semula 3 menjadi hanya 2 saja. lau ditambah dengan mengganti per kopling biar nyetut, hasilnya lihat tabel berikut:
