Hay para HOMOSEK alias hobi mobil seken, jikalau anda punya uang sekitar 35-45 juta dan ingin menebus kendaraan idaman dan tak kehujanan nih dia salah satu pilihannya Timor 97-200 atau Suzuki Esteem 96.
Untuk Timor yang versi DOHC dari tahun 97-2000 bisa diboyong dengan mahar 35-45 juta, untuk tahun sebelumnya 96 yang fersi SOHC bisa goyang hingga 30 jutaan. Sementara DOHC 2001 bisa naik antara 40-50 juta. Mobil ini dikenal paling murah dikelasnya, paling lengkap fitur dikelasnya, dan merupakan mobil nan bandel mesinnya dan lincah sehingga banyak anak muda menyukainya. Spare part banyak, harga murah adalah jaminan kelangsungan pemeliharaan. Mobil ini berkonfigurasi 4 silinder segaris DOHC 1498 cc dengan transmisi manual 5 speed. Kekurangan mobil ini adalah bagian cietnya yang kurang pekem, sering overhead, dan dashbor kirang manteb. Tapi menilik jumlah uang yang hanya segitu kecil ya worth it lah.
Sementara itu Suzuki Esteem 96 bisa diboyong kurang lebih harga 35-45 juta yang versi 1600 cc, kamudian yang versi 1300 cc bisa digoyang lagi sesuai dengan tahunnya. Moil ini perawatannya gmapang, spare part melimpah harga jual kembali juga tidk jauh pautannya. Mobil dengan trasmisi manual 5 percepatan 1600 cc ini dikenal irit dan bandel, hingga kin masih banyak berseliweran di jalan baik di ibu kota maupun dikota-kota kecil lainnya. Mobil ni meski sudah lebih dari 10 tahun namun modelnya masih up to date. Kelemahn mobil ini terletak pada balljointnya yang oblak termakan usia, dan juga- kaki-kaki yang kurang kuat.

vote for esteem. timor boros, mesin kalah bandel dibanding esteem.
esteem power steeringnya lebih empuk. shocknya juga lebih empuk, timor glodakan. terus esteem lebih senyap kabinnya dibanding timor.

persis spt penerawanganku dahulu kala, Timor atau Esteem…. akhirnya pilih Esteem krn banyak saran kalo u/ mobil seken pertama, cari yg 1) teknologinya sederhana, 2) onderdil banyak, 3) harga resale gak bikin bunuh diri (hehe). untuk 1), kalo rusak, bisa diperbaiki sendiri atau ke bengkel mana aja. 2) kalo onderdil banyak yg jual, gampang nyarinya & harga bersaing antar toko. 3) kebetulan mo dijual nih Esteem-ku, harga yg dah nawar” gak bikin depresi 🙂

ihik..milih esteem GT 1.6 L…meski masih karbu (yang bikin senewen) harga jualnya tinggi…kalo onderdil mahal bos….
kalo timor ojo dipilih….kesannya taksi banget…mirip2 soluna dan sunny/laser……..dah gitu banyak rewelnya…persis seperti mobil2 korea lainnya!!
