Laporan Minerva Sachs Racing Championship 2011 Sentul, 27-03-2011
Brader sekalian Minerva Sachs Racing Championship 2011/ MSRC yang merupakan Balapan Satu Merek (One Make Race = OMR) Minerva Sachs Megelli 250 seri perdananya baru saja digelar Di sentul diikuti 16 pembalap. Sebelum acara dimula ada sesi tanya jawab denga salah satu petinggi Minerva, acara ini digelar untuk membuktikan bahwa Megelli layak untuk diperhitungkan kehandalannya baik disirkuit maupun di jalan raya. Jalannya balapan lumayan seru, terjadi salip menyalip untuk berrebut posisi depan sejak awal lap, sehingga menyuguhkan tontonan yang cukup seru bagi penonton baik di tribun maupun di TV.
Beberapa catatan yang Harus diperbaiki dari race ini
Bagi beader sekalian yang terbias menyaksikan MotoGP tentu ini bukan merupakan tontonaan yang seru abis, karena secara performa motor ini tidaklah lebih kencang dri 160 km/jam jadi wajar kalau terlihat pelan, sementara motor GP bisa 320 km/jam. Para pembalap di race ini juga tak semiring di MotoGP ketika menikung, dan lebih terlihat tak mantebnya adalah ketika adu cepat banyak yang tidak mengikuti racing line, sehingga terkesan seperti balap liar, dimana para pembalap tidak bisa mengefektifkan performa diatas lintasan. 
Race kali ini diwarnai beberapa Minerva yang ngowos, ada yang ngowos ketika balapan baru dimulai sehingga tak bisa melanjutkan balapan, dan yang dan ada yang ketika terjadi perrebutan posisi 1-2-dan 3 yang pada akhirnya salah satu pemblap harus menerima kenyataan mesinnya lose power lalu satu persatu lawan menyalipnya dan ia harus rela di finis posisi terakhir. Namun adanya mesin ngowos ini merupakan hal yang wajar, mengingat gelaran MotoGP yang segitu wahnya saja tak jarang didapati mesin lose power atau bahkan ngowos. Pada balapan MSRC 2011 putaran pertama tersebut hanya sembilan pebalap finish, dari 16 pebalap yang tampil.

Ari Octane sukses merebut podium pertama usai mengalahkan M. Irvan Zein dan Andri Hermansyah. Arie dari tim Minerva-Sachs Farhan Hendro Motorsport mendominasi balapan. Rider dari Jawa Barat ini start dari pole position dan mempertahankan posisinya selama delapan lap hingga finish pertama dengan waktu 16 menit dan 19,758 detik. ia berhasil mencatat lap tercepat yaitu di lap ketiga dengan catatan waktu 2:02.097. Sementara M Irvan harus puas berada di posisi kedua setelah terpaut 5,206 detik dari Arie, disusul Andri Hrmansyah di posisi ketiga dengan waktu 16.39.016 detik.Sedangkan Balang dari tim DKI Jakarta berada di posisi keempat dan Yohanes Rio Bano berada di posisi kelima. Pada lomba tersebut para pebalap menggunakan All New Minerva Sachs Megelli 250 yang terdiri dari 4 varian utama; Megelli 250 RV (top-of-the-line), Megelli RE(Full Fairing), Megelli 250 SE (Naked) dan Megelli 250 (Motard).
