Diam-dim Honda Melakukan Tes MotoGP 2012 Yang 1000 CC.

Sementara ini belum ada kejelasan tentang kapan ketiga pembalap utama tim Repsol Honda saat ini yaitu Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa dan Andrea Dovizioso bisa mencicipi prototipe motor Honda 2012 itu. Tapi sepertinya semua tim pabrikan akan memaksimalkan penggunakan tipe mesin 1.000 cc ketimbang menggunakan tipe mesin 800 cc atau di bawah dari 1.000 cc. Bukan hanya itu pengenalan stroke mesin yang lebih panjang, bisa mengurangi tinggi RPM mesin tapi tetap menghasilkan performa yang sama.
Lalu bagaimana dengan Yamaha? Ya, Yamaha Factory Racing akan langsung memboyong dua pembalapnya yaitu Jorge Lorenzo dan Ben Spies untuk melakukan tes perdana prototipe motor 2012 dari Yamaha. Proses pengetesan ini kabarnya akan dilangsungkan usai MotoGP seri Mugello Italia (3/7) mendatang. Tentu dong, Yamaha tak mau kalah dengan tim lain di ajang MotoGP.
