Satria FU Diambang Kudeta TVS Tormak Yang Rumornya Hanya 15 Juata-an
Brader sekalian, ketergantungan Suzuki Indonesia terhadap Staria FU sangatlah besar, hingga kini top penjulan Suzuki ini masih sepenuhnya milik si FU ini. Satu hal yang mesti dicermati Suzuki adalah lawan yang datang dari PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TVSMCI) yang kini sedang merampungkan strategi akhir sebelum melepas bebek super 150 cc nya, Tormax. TVS TORMAX ini menurut Nurlida Fatmikasari, Corporate Communications TVS Indonesia akan hadir di Otobursa Otomotif 2011 di Gelora Bung Karno pada 21 Mei mendatang dengan mengusung fitur-fitur baru dari TVS.

Beberapa fitur baru yang belum pernah ada di tataran motor bebek TVS di antaranya adalah panel instrument yang telah mengadopsi teknologi digital yakni meter cluster dikabarkan full digital, dan monoshock untuk suspensi belakang.
Ya menurut Warung DOHC dan Warung Ijo TVS menerapkan tehnologi 3 Valve CC VTi (Controlled Combustion Variable Timing Intelligent) Merupakan sebuah Sistem Yang dikembangkan Oleh TVS bersama AVL Austria. Pada Dasarnya sistem CC VTi ini memiliki 3 buah klep (valve) di ruang bakarnya, 2 Klep Intake dan 1 Klep exhaus. Akan tetapi 2 Klep intakenya ini berbeda jenis. Klep Intake jenis Pertama berjenis Swirl (pusaran) dan klep Intake kedua berjenis Power (lebih jelasnya silakan ke warung Ijo atau ke warung DOHC).
Menurut TVS, selain menawarkan tampilan dan fitur baru Tormax 150 juga menawarkan performa terbaik. Dengan kapasitas mesin 150 cc dan beberapa fitur baru yang cangkokkan TVS pada Tormax 150, tentunya akan berpengaruh pada harga jual bebek super ini. Dikatakan TVS, diharapkan bebek super ini bisa dilepas dengan harga kurang dari Rp 16 juta, bahkan ada yang mengatakan 15 juta, kabarnya akan ada dua varian rem cakram depan-belakang dan single disc.
Si Tormak ini bila betul-betul di kisaran 15 Juta tentu merupakan ancaman serius bagi Satria FU, mengingat harganya sangat bersaing dan belum lagi faktor motor baru dan tehnologi baru. Soal kualitas, nampaknya cukup terbukti TVS Apache yang hingga kini sudah sering kita jumpai ngaspal di jalan raya. Bahkan bila lebih ekstrim lagi boleh jadi si Tormak adalah hama yang mematikan bagi FU bila tak segera diantisipasi. Bangkitlah Suzuki Indonesia!
