Warm Up GP Le Mans 2011: Lorenzo Crash Mengerikan, sementara Stoner Tercepat
Casey Stoner (Repsol Honda) melanjutkan hasil gemilangnya pada 20 kontroversial warm up di the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France. Sementara itu Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) mengalami crash yang luar biasa. Marco Simoncelli (San Carlo Honda Gresini Team) menempati posisi 2 diikuti Ducati Team’s Nicky Hayden.
Ya, memang Stoner menjadi yang tercepat dalam sesi warm up di Le Mans kali ini. Namun putaran tercepat Stoner pada sesi warm up yakni 1’34.221 adalah 1.1 detik lebih pelan daripada best lap pada pole possition kemarin. Ya, pada acara warm up ini diwarnai beberapa kejadian selain crashnya Lorenzo, yakni sebuah klash alias kericuhan antara Stoner dan Randy de Puniet (Pramac Racing) selama warm up. Stoner nampaknya mau berantem dengan si Puniet ini.
Sementara itu Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) tak apat best lap karena terlempar keluar lap dalam sebuah crash yang mengerikan, setelah oleng bagian belakang motornya lalu nyungseb ke gravel. Lorenzo dikabarkan Baik-baik saja, namun motornya kurang beruntung tercium api. Adapun Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) di urutan 4, mengungguli Ducati Team bike yakni Valentino Rossi yang finis di urutan 5 di depan Andrea Dovizioso (Repsol Honda).
