Strategi Kawasaki Mirip Bajaj Dari Sisi Konsen Di Sport
Brader sekalian, setelah dalam tulisan yang lalu James Bons ulas strategi Pulsar mirip dengan KTM dari sisi bahwa KTM itu menjual motor dari beberapa cc tapi degan basic mesin yang sama seperti Duke 125, 200, 250 dan 300 ternyata basic mesinnya mirip, demikian juga dengan Pulsar yang 180, 200, dan 220 juga mirip. Nah kini ternyata Kawasaki Indonesia juga melakukan strategi yang juga mirip si pulsar ini dari sisi bahwa Pulsar konsen di segmen sport dan demikia juga dengan Kawasaki Indonesia.
Lihatlah fakta yang diulas mbah Edo bahwa pada Januari-April 2011, TVS mampu mengungguli pangsa pasar Kawasaki. Lumrah, mungkin karena konsentrasi Kawasaki membidik pasar motor sport. TVS atau PT TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TMCI) adalah anggota paling bungsu Asosiasi Industri Sepeda Motor Indonesia (Aisi). Produsen yang mengusung teknologi sepeda motor India itu, mulai bernaung di Aisi sejak tahun 2010.
Dalam hal ini mbah Edo mengkategorikan para anggota AISI ini ke dalam 2 lapis atau dua kelas pabrikan, lapis pertama yang menguasai diatas 90% lalu lapis ke dua adalah para pemilik pangsa pasar di bawah 10%. Di lapis pertama ada Honda, Yamaha, dan Suzuki. Ketiganya memiliki pangsa pasar mulai dari 11% hingga 50%. Jika digabung, ketiganya menguasai sekitar 98% dari total volume motor bebek anggota Aisi. Sepanjang Januari-April 2011, ada sekitar 1,1 juta unit. Di lapis dua yang total digabungkan hanya dibawah 10% ada TVS, Kawasaki, dan Kanzen. Pada empat bulan pertama 2011, TVS menguasai sekitar 0,57%, Kawasaki (0,38%), dan Kanzen (0,02%). Sebelum TVS bergabung ke Aisi, dominasi Kawasaki cukup kencang. Dalam rentang 2007-2011, tentunya untuk periode Januari-April, Kawasaki masih teratas. Pangsa pasar tertinggi terjadi pada 2007, yakni sekitar 1,09%. Oh ya, pada 2007 dan 2008, Kymco masih bermain di segmen motor underbone atau sebutan lain untuk motor bebek.
Ya, dari sini terlihat sekali bahwa Kawasaki seakan mirip dengan Bajaj dalam hal konsennya di motor sport. Ya ini boleh jadi memang bukan tanpa sengaja, pasalnya baik di India maupun Indonesia kerjasama 2 pabrikan ini tetap terjalin, ER 6n dan Ninja 650 adalah motor Kawasaki yang dirakit Bajaj, demikian juga kalu tidak salah kabarnya Ninja 250 juga dirakit oleh Bajaj.

bukan pangsa pasar keseluruhan, tetapi khusus yg pangsa pasar utk kategori bebek. Klo pangsa pasar keseluruhan Kawasaki msh 1% lbh dikit….artinya msh urutan ke empat. tvs yg ke lima.
