Duralife Engine Pada TVS Tormax 150 Jaminan Durabilitas Mesin
Sebuah terobosan tehnologi baru dari TVS yang layak untuk diacungi jempol, yakni tehnolgi yang diterapkan untuk mendukung durabilitas Motor baru TVS yang bernam Tormax 150. Tehnologi ini disebut dengan “Duralife Engine” oleh fihak TVS. Sebagaimana kita ketahui Tormax
mengaplikasikan sebuah mesin 150 cc dengan kompressi 11.3 : 1 dengan tenaga 13.2 bhp dan torsi kaksimum 12.5 NM @ 5500 RPM. Melihat angka-angak tersebut kita bisa menyimpulkan bahwa Tormax ini adalah sebuah mesin dengan daya kerja yang tinggi, maka oleh TVS diaplikasikanlah Duralife Engine ini untuk mendukung kapabilitas yang tinggi tersebut dengan durabilitas yang bisa dipertanggungjawabkan pula.
Duralive Engine ini meliputi beberapa sistem yaitu:
- RF Technology + Universal Foot Tappet
- LF Piston Ring
- LF Advance Lub circuit
- Liquid Cooled
Pada RF tehnology ini TVS mengaplikasikan Roller Cam Follower untuk mengurangi gesekan sehingga engine lebih bertenaga, irit dan handal.
Sementara itu sistem Universal Foot Tappet terhubung dengan klep untuk mengurangi beban dan gesekan dengan demikian mesin lebih Irit dan klep lebih awet.
Selain RF Technology yang digunakan untuk meminimalisir gesekan ternyata ada juga tehnologi LF atau Low Friction yakni sebuah tehnologi yang juga bertujuan meminimalisasi gesekan. Dalam hal ini Tormak mengaplikasikan 2 LF, pertama LF Piston Ring dan kedua adalah LF Advance Lub Circuit. LF Piston Ring adalah bahwa Tormax ini menggunakan ring piston lebih tipis untuk mengurangi gesekan sehingga motor lebi irit irit dan awet. TVS TORMAX menggunakan ring axial tebalnya 0.8 mm beda dengan umumnya yag 1 mm, lalu oil ring tebalnya 1.5 mm lebih tipis dari umumnya yang 2 mm. Sementara LF Advance Lub Circuit adalah dengan mengaplikasikan pelumasan yang merata dan optimal sehingga mesin tak cepat aus dan adem.
Nah langkah terakhir untuk mendukung kinerja mesi adalah dengan mengaplikasikan Liquid Cooled Engine pada mesin TORMAX-150 sebagai sistem pendingin yang membuat mesih lebih awet, handal dan irit bahan bakar.
Nah tentunya dengan semua aplikasi tehnologi di atas sangat mendukung durabilitas mesin Tormak yang memang bekerja pada kitaran tinggi dan dengan kapabilitas yang tak diragukan lagi. Luar biasanya ini hanyalah sebagian kecil dari Tehnologi canggih yang disematkan pada Tormax, masih banyak ternyata yang belum terekspos kecanggihan Tormax ini oleh publik. Ya, nampaknya dengan harga Rp. 14,9 juta sangatlah worth it untuk sebuah motor Tormax 150.

LF pada ring piston, juga di terapkan oleh honda NF 125 sejak era karisma. Walaupun di gembor2kan lebih awet, tp tetep kenyataannya tuk harian lebih awet ring piston tebal milik C100 ama NF 100 milik astrea grand ama supra 100
Malahan rata2 ring piston NF 125 dah gak kuat di KM 40 ribuan, sedangkan milik C 100 ama NF 100 rata2 baru jebol pada KM 65 ribuan
