- Kondisi Mesin, Tidak boleh ada oli menetes, dan harus bersih, suara tidak kasar .
- Lampu-lampu harus berfungsi semuanya, test lampu jauh, dekat dll, wiper. .
- Semua Instrument di Dashboard harus berfungsi semuanya .
- Tekanan Oli minimal jangan kurang dari 125 Kpa (ini gambaran kondisi mesin) .
- Jarum Temperatur pastikan tidak lebih dari 103 derajat celcius. dan bila sudah mencapai 103 derajat celcius pastikan kembali jarum indikator temperatur turun kembali ke kisaran 82 derajat celcius. .
- Kaki-kaki harus baik (lakukan test jalan) jangan ada bunyi-bunyi.. .
- AC harus dapat berfungsi dengan baik .
- Kunci-kunci pintu harus berfungsi baik .
- Perpindahn gigi perseneling harus terasa lembut (tidak keras) .
- Lakukan test jalan di jalan aspal dan jalan gerijul.
- Test jalan lakukan dengan kaca jendela dibuka dan ditutup.
Setelah membeli mobil blazer bekas.. JANGAN dulu dipakai apalai dipakai ke luar kota atau jalan jarak jauh tetapi lakukan dahulu :
- Ganti Timing Belt (WAJIB) catat tanggal ganti dan KM_nya. sebab bila sampai Timing belt putus.. mesin akan rusak.. terutama Blazer bermesih DOHC siap-siap jajan dan bisa lebih dari Rp.10 juta.
- Timing Bell DOHC => ganti setiap pemakaian 30 000 km (saran saya setiap 25 000 Km) SOHC => ganti setiap pemakaian 60 000 km (saran saya setiap 55 000 Km) .
- Tak kalah pentingnya terutama untuk yang pertama pakai mobil blazer – Perhatikan point penting indikator yang ada di Dashbord minimal – Perhatikan Jarum Tekanan Oli jangan sampai kurang dari 125 Kpa – Perhatikan temperatur jangan lebih dari 103 derajat celcius – Bila lampu indikator Check Gages menyala, berhenti dan matikan mesin, periksa system pendingin dan Oli mesin. Kerusakan mesin bisa terjadi karena Pemakai belum paham betul cara memperlakukan mobil Blazer dan apa saja yang harus diperhatikan selama mengendarai mobil blazer.
