Tahun Depan Bajaj Luncurkan KTM Duke 200
Stefan Pierer, KTM Chief Executive Officer telah memastikan Bajaj dan KTM akan segera mengeluarkan varian KTM Duke 200cc bro. Yang lebih surprise lagi adalah KTM Duke juga bakal muncul dalam versi mesin 350cc.
Seperti di rilis indiancarsbikers, bahwa menurut Pierer KTM akan meluncurkan Duke 200 pada Delhi Auto Expo 2012. Baru satu tahun setelahnya, atau pada 2013, KTM akan meluncurkan Duke 350.
“Pada Delhi Auto Expo tahun depan, kami akan meluncurkan Duke 200cc yang pertama di India. Kami berharap untuk menjual 25.000 sampai 30.000 unit di India pada tahun pertama peluncurannya,” kata Pierer. “Setelah satu tahun, kita akan meluncurkan Duke 350-cc di India,” lanjutnya.
Wah, berarti line up model KTM Duke akan lengkap dari 125, 200 hingga 350 dan versi moge-nya yang sudah jauh lebih dulu beredar di Eropa dan Amerika nih bro.
Varian Duke 125 yang sudah lebih dulu dipasarkan di Eropa bahkan sudah terjual hingga 7.000 unit. Sedang varian 200cc dan 350cc bisa dipastikan bukan untuk pasar Eropa. Tapi Bajaj dan KTM akan menyasar negara-negara berkembang.
“Semua sepeda motor yang kami produksi di India akan menjadi global model. Sekarang kita sedang melihat untuk mengekspor KTM dari fasilitas produksi Bajaj ke pasar negara berkembang seperti Thailand, Malaysia, dan Brasil”, ujar Pierer lagi.
Kemungkinan besar, varian 200cc ini jugalah yang bakal diluncurkan di Indonesia di masa mendatang bro!
