MotoGP Jerman: Grand Prix ke-250 Bagi Valentino Rossi

Di Sirkuit Sachsenring nanti, Valentino Rossi akan mencatat sejarah baru dalam kariernya di arena balap motor bro. Karena “The Doctor” akan melakukan balapan ke-250 untuk semua kelas yang sudah digelutinya
Semenjak mulai berkompetisi di lintasan balap motor–di seluruh kelas–Valentino Rossi sudah menjalani 249 balapan. Maka di MotoGP Jerman ia pun akan start untuk balapan ke-250.
Hinga saat dia mengalami kecelakaan dan patah kaki pada latihan GP Italia tahun lalu, Rossi sudah membukukan rekor 230 balapan tanpa putus. Hingga saat ini, peraih tujuh gelar juara dunia MotoGP tersebut sudah mencapai angka 249.
Dengan start ke-250 pada akhir pekan, Rossi akan masuk ke jajaran elit pembalap yang berhasil menembus angka tersebut. Sebelumnya cuma ada lima pembalap yang bisa melakukannya.
Rekor start terbanyak sendiri masih dikuasai oleh pembalap veteran Loris Capirossi, yang rencananya akan kembali ke lintasan balap pada akhir pekan menyusul cedera yang membuat dirinya absen di dua seri terakhir.
