Lorenzo: “Balapan Akan Terlihat Seru..”
Jorge Lorenzo mengaku kecewa tak bisa menagamankan pole position pada sesi kualifikasi GP Jerman, Sabtu (16/7/2011).Tapi dia menjanjikan balapan atraktif kepada penonton.
Lorenzo sebenarnya tampil impresif di sesi latihan bebas dan hampir sepanjang kualifikasi. Namun, dia gagal mengamankan posisi terdepan dan harus puas berada start di tempat ketiga, di belakang duo Honda Casey Stoner dan Dani Pedrosa.
Meski demikian,Lorenzo optimis balapan akan berjalan ketat mengingat karakter Sirkuit Sachsenring yang tak terlalu panjang, hanya 2,3 mil. “Ini pekan yang panjang. Saya tak pernah merasa baik di trek ini tapi pekan ini saya membalap dengan cepat dan merasa nyaman,” kata Lorenzo. “Sangat menyedihkan di akhir kualifikasi ban lunak tidak berkembang dengan baik,” keluh pembalap asal Spanyol ini.
“Di akhir saya tak bisa meraih pole position, tapi saya pikir posisi di garis depan cukup baik untuk memulai balapan,” tandas sang juara bertahan. “Casey sangat kuat, tapi saya harap bisa siap bersaing untuk meraih kemenangan dengannya. Saya pikir fans akan melihat balapan hebat karena di sana ada banyak pembalap berjuang untuk menang,” tutupnya, dikutip Crash, Minggu (17/7/2011).
