5 Generasi V (16 Februari 2005-saat ini)Ternyata Kijang Generasi IV yang diluncurkan pada tahun 1997 diekspor secara utuh (completely built-up/CBU) ke Brunei Darussalam, Pasifik Selatan, Papua Nugini, dan Timor Timur, serta secara terurai (completely knocked-down/CKD) ke Afrika Selatan, Malaysia, Filipina, dan Taiwan. Nama-nama Kijang versi ini di luar negeri: Unser (Malaysia), Zace (Taiwan), Tamaraw Revo (Filipina), Qualis (India), dan Condor di Afrika Selatan.
Mesin dan Kijang CKD tersebut diekspor ke Filipina dan Vietnam. Mesin Kijang 7K CKD diekspor ke Jepang dan blok silinder 5K diekspor ke Jepang. Total nilai ekspor Toyota Kijang mencapai 715.000.000 dolar AS. Kijang Innova diekspor ke Malaysia, Thailand, dan Brunei Darusallam dan direncanakan juga mencapai negara ASEAN lainnya, Timur Tengah dan Oseania.
