4 Valve Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is one of few bikes to use the new 4-valve DTS-i technology in its engine. This 4-valve technology employs two intake and two exhaust valves each so that emissions are improved. It even converts around 50% of the area into the combustion chamber, allowing the intake and exhaust passages to become broader. This facilitates the stimulation of more air-fuel mixture and also the evacuation of all burnt gases inside the combustion chamber, ensuring faster, cleaner and more efficient combustion. Moreover, the 4-valve engine revs to a much higher rpm easily, thereby allowing the rider to enjoy a light sports bike performance. Overall, this technology ensures better engine performance, better power pick up, better fuel efficiency and fewer emissions.

Triple Spark Technology

The Pulsar 200NS uses triple spark technology provides fast and optimal combustion, thereby increasing performance and efficiency. Combustion is 27% faster than a twin spark and 50% faster than a single spark engine.
