Woh Ternyata, Supir Ngatuk Abis Nonton Piala Dunia Penyebab Kecelakaaan Beruntun 2 Bysway dan 2 Kopaja Di Halte Monas
Sebagaimana James Bons tulis beberapa jam lalu di artikel sebelumnya, bahwa terjado kecelakaan beruntun yang melibatkan 2 Busway dan 2 Kopaja di depan halte Busway Monas, ternyata adalah penyebabnya sopir ngantuk gara-gara semaleman nonton Piala Dunia. Hem, hobi ship, tapi menyebabkan orang lain sengsara. Yadi, sopir yang membawa bus gandeng TransJ bernopol B 7562 TGA, sempat tertidur sebentar ketika bus masih berjalan dan tak sempat menginjak pedal rem, disinilah awal mula tabrakan ang melibatkan 4 bis itu.
Tabrakan itu dimulai ketika bus milik Damri yang dibawa Yadi meluncur di jalur khusus bus dari Blok M menuju ke Kota di jalan Medan Merdeka Barat. Karena diserang kantuk, di situlah Yadi mulai tertidur sehingga tidak memperhatikan bus kopaja yang sedang antre menurunkan penumpang di Halte Monas. Maka bus TransJ itu menabrak satu unit Kopaja B 7700 VR yang kemudian beruntun menabrak Kopaja lain bernopol B 7611 DG, serta bus gandeng TransJ B 7501 TGA yang sedang berhenti menurunkan penumpang.
Akubat ngantuk tersebut 4 bus rusak lumayan parah dan sebanyak 8 orang menderita korban luka ringan dan sempat dilarikan ke rumah sakit. Kabarnya operator bus Damri berujar akan memberhentikan supir tersebut.
