Kenapa Begitu Yakin Dengan Mayor Change Pada CB 150 R? Berikut Penjelasannya!
Brader sekalian, James Bons telah merilis setidaknya 3 artikel tentang perubahan besar yang terjadi pada CB 150 R untuk lansiran 2015 ini yakni pada artikel INI, INI, dan INI. Dalam 3 artikel tersebut James Bons ulas secara gamblang tentang perubahan yang dilakukan terhadap all New CB 150 R untuk tahun 2015 ini, mulai dari hedlamp, hingga buntut, semua telah dikpas tuntas dalam 3 artikel tersebut. Nah sekarang apa yang mendasari bahwa CB 150 R ini mengalami mayor Chaneg bukan hanya minor Change saja?

Alasan Pertama, jelas target lahirnya CB 150 R adalah untuk menjadi NVL killer, naha selama ini memang CB 150 R balum mampu menjadi NVL killer, ya mungkin baru dalaf taram “Ngrusuhi” atau mengganggu. Lihat saja penjualannya, misalnya data Aisi Februari, CB 150 R 7234 unti terjual, sementara NVL laku sebanyak 26546 unit. jauh banget kan gan selisihnya. Ini terjadi boleh jadi lantaran dulu saat CB 150 dirumuskan, V-ixion masih model yang lama, dan saat CB lahir, V-ixion berrubah wujud menjadi NVL yang lebih kekar. Tentu ini menjadi berat duat CB 150 R. Dan ini tentu memaksa CB berbenah diri dan melakukan banyak perubahan alias Mayor Change.
Alasan Kedua, adalah perubahan kode yang signifikan. Bahwa awalnya motor ini terbit adalah dengan koed K 15 A dan kini untuk yang all new CB 150 R adalah berkode K 15 G. Daro kebiasaan Honda kode A, lalu B, Lalu C, biasanya hanya menggunakan minor change saja alias face lift kecil misalnya ganti stripping. Nah kalau lewat dari itu D, E, F, G, R dan sebagainya bisa jadi memang ada pertanda perubahan besar.
Tengok saja Honda Tiger yang awalnya berkode GL 200 yang diproduksi tahun 1993-2006 lalu berubah menjadi Generasi Ke Dua Honda Tiger Revolution Cruiser (2006 – 2008). Perubahan total terhadap desain tangki, bodi, stoplamp, shockbreaker, dan sistem knalpot. Perubahan total ini melibatkan Kode Produksi berubah menjadi GL-200D (velg jari-jari), GL-200R (velg racing) Tahun Produksi: Oktober 2006 hingga November 2008. Nah pada periode selanjutnya ada lagi perubahan, Generasi ke Tiga Honda Tiger New Revolution Cruiser (2008 – 2012) dengan menggunakan kode GL-200RA1 yakni untuk periode mata icek dan single headlamp. Nah dari sini terlihat perubahan dari tiger GL 200 ke GL 200 D sungguh significant, lalu dari GL 200 R ke tiger 200 RA1 kan hanyaperubahan headlamp saja.
Nah ini yang CB 150 R kodenya menggunakan K 15, lalu sekarang sudah menggunakan K 15 G, hurufnya langsung G, mas bro sekalian, berarti perubahan yang cukup foundamental alias menyeluruh. Maka begitu James Bons yakin dengan beberapa artikel lalu tentang perubahn yang signifikan ini. Semoga saja benar adanya.
