Kilas Lantas: Jembatan Tuntang Dibongkar, Semarang-Solo Tersendat 90 Hari
Jembatan Tuntang di Kabupaten Semarang yang berbatasan dengan salatiga untuk menghubungkan jalur Solo-Semarang sejak Selasa (8/9/2015) hingga 3 bulan ke depan ditutup karena sedang diadakan perbaikan. Bagian elastomer bearing pad (karet bantalan) jembatan sudah aus dan harus diganti. Jembatan ini terdiri dari 2 bagian, yakni jembatan penyangga (cantilever bridge) untuk jalur Bawen-Salatiga (Semarang-Solo) dan jembatan kerangka (truss bridge) untuk arah sebaliknya, yakni Salatiga-Bawen (Solo-Semarang) yang saat ini sedang diperbaiki.
Pembongkaran landasan jembatan menggunakan alat berat kini sedang dilakukan, dimana seluruh landasan berupa cor beton dan aspal dibongkar untuk penggantian elastomer bearing pad. Nah dari pembongkaran jembatan ini mengakibatkan pengalihan arus lalu lintas. Sebab, seluruh bagian jembatan tersebut harus dibongkar sehingga tidak bisa dilalui kendaraan.
Satlantas Polres Semarang sudah melakukan pengalihan arus lalu lintas ke Jembatan Tuntang lama sehingga jembatan lama yang digunakan untuk jalur Bawen-Tuntang akan digunakan untuk dua jalur. Siap siap-aja gan kalau lewat sini bakal tersendat hehe.

kalo arah temanggung gak macet lek,mulai macet parah tu keluar tol bawen mpe jembatan tuntang.jadi sampeyan aman wis pertigaan bawen ke kanan 😀
