Tol Solo Sragen Dibuka H Min 7 Sampai H Plus 7 Lebaran 2016. Ya, tol Solo-Sragen ini adalah merupakan bagian dari proyek tol Solo-kertosono, namun untuk mudik 2016 ini baru bisa selesai dari Solo hingga Sragen, sementara Sragen-Kertosono masih dalam taraf pengerjaan. Tol Solo-Kertosono (Soker) ini bakal dibuka perdana saat arus mudik lebaran 2016, dimana untuk perdana ini tol tersebut gratis gan. Tol Solo hingga Sragen ini berjarak 25 kilometer saja. Menurut keterangan Direktur PT Solo Ngawi Jaya, David Wijayatno, pemudik tidak perlu lagi melewati Kota Solo sehingga bisa menghindari kemacetan kota solo yang sering terjadi.Masih menurut pak David ini dalam rapat koordinasi persiapan jalur mudik lebaran 2016 Jalan Tol Solo-Mantingan-Ngawi di Kota Solo yang dikutip tribun, untuk mengakses masuk tol ini pemudik dapat masuk pintu tol di Klodran, Karanganyar yang posisinya dekat bandara Adi Sumarmo Solo, atau kalau dari arh Jakarta sebelum kota Solo, atau perbatasan sebelah utara Kota Solo. Selanjutnya bisa keluar tol lewat pintu Kemiri Karanganyar atau Pungkruk yang berada di wilayah Sragen.
Ngutip dari solopost mengenai penjagaan di seputar gerbang masuk dan keluar tol Solo-Sragen, diperoleh informasi bahwa otoritas pelaksana proyek tol ruas Solo-Ngawi dari PT Solo Ngawi Jaya telah mempersiapkan personel jaga. Selain itu, pengamanan jalan juga dibantu pihak Satlantas dan Dinas Perhubungan daerah setempat. Jadi bakal ada pengamanan di jalur masuk dan keluar tol Solo-Sragen yang melewati Solo. Fokus penjagaan akan diarahkan ke perempatan batas kota yang mengarah ke Jl. Pakel dan Jl. Adi Sumarmo serta pertigaan Masjid Mujahidin Banyuanyar.
Kemudian untuk pemasangan papan pengarah jalan akan dilaksanakan PT Solo Ngawi Jaya pada H-14 mendatang. Jalan tol ini bakal siap beroperasi terbatas. Gratis bagi roda empat dan terlarang untuk sepeda motor, truk, dan bus. Fasilitas pendukung seperti toilet, ambulans, sampai mobil derek sudah siaga.
Jalan tol ini mulai dibuka pada H-7 lebaran hingga arus balik H+7 lebaran. Jelasnya pembukaan ruas jalan tol Solo-Sragen tersebut diharapkan dapat mengurangi kepadatan lalu lintas di dalam Kota Solo utamnya saat lebaran yangbiasanya dipenuhi arus mudik.
