4 Pembalap Astra Honda Siap Berlaga di Suzuka Endurance. Mereka adalah Dimas Ekky Pratama, Gerry Salim, Irfan Ardiansyah dan Rheza Danica Ahrens. Kejuaraan balap ini memang unik gan uji ketahanan bergengsi 8 Hours Endurance World Championship dan 4 Hours Endurance Road Race di sirkuit Suzuka, Jepang. Tekad para pmbalap muda ini bulat, persembahkan kebanggan yang mengharumkan nama Indonesia di kancah balap dunia.
Dimas, tahun ini terjun di Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 600cc dan CEV Moto2 European Championship, tentunya punya modal untuk balap di Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance World Championship pada minggu (31/7). Sedan Irfan dan Rheza telag berpengalaman di kejurnas supersport 600cc bakal terjun di Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Road Race sehari sebelumnya (30/7). Adapun Gerry Salim, mendukung dan mendapatkan pengalaman dari ketatnya persaingan di ajang balap ketahanan kelas dunia ini. Kini mereka telah digembleng mulai dari fisik, skill dan mental di Tanah Air maupun di sirkuit Suzuka, Jepang. Kemudian serangkaian official test telah dilalui sebelum menghadapi balapan tersebut.
Di kelas 8 Hours Endurance World Championship, Dimas yang tergabung dalam tim Satu Hati. Honda Team Asia akan bertanding berpasangan dengan pebalap dari negara lain yaitu, Zaqhwan Zaidi (Malaysia) dan Rathapong Wilairot (Thailand). Satu Hati. Honda Team Asia akan menggunakan sepeda motor CBR1000RR dan berlomba selama 8 jam menghadapi 163 pebalap berbagai negara dari 57 tim.
Sedangkan di ajang Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Road Race, Irfan dan Rheza akan berlomba di bawah naungan tim Astra Honda Racing Team menggunakan sepeda motor CBR 600RR menghadapi 128 pebalap dari 64 tim.
Babak kualifikasi akan dilaksanakan pada Jumat (29/7) dan khusus untuk kelas 8 hours akan mengikuti sesi Top 10 trials untuk menentukan posisi start terdepan.
Kita tunggu saja gan, hasilnya gan. Se moga pulang dengan membawa kebanggaan bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Indonesia bisa bersaing di kancah internasional.
