Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Akan Memperkenalkan Agya Facelift
Sejak beberapa waktu yang lalu, tersiar kabar bahwa Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) akan memperkenalkan Agya facelift. Kabar yang viral di dunia maya itu menyebut Agya baru ini akan meluncur pada 7 April nanti.
Namun, seperti bola liar, spekulasi ini tidak dibarengi dengan konfirmasi langsung dari pihak Toyota. Toyota, yang merupakan pabrikan terbesar di Indonesia, masih sedikit menginformasikan apapun soal mobil murah ramah lingkungan ini.
Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Executive General Manager Vehicle Sales Operation Sub Directorate PT TAM memastikan satu hal, bahwa Agya facelift betul akan dilengkapi dua varian mesin.
“Kalau untuk engine ada 1,0 liter dan 1,2 liter itu benar,” ujarnya. Sayang Soerjo tidak merinci mesin ini.
Sebelumnya, disebutkan bahwa mesin 1,2 liter Agya adalah mesin yang sama dengan LCGC lain, Toyota Calya dan Daihatsu Sigra. Mesin itu, secara spesifik, adalah mesin seri 3NR-VE, DOHC Dual VVT-i, empat silinder segaris.
Untuk diketahui, sejauh ini Agya memang hanya dilengkapi mesin bensin 1,0 liter saja. Mesin DOHC ini bertenaga 64 Tk dan torsi 86 Nm.
Selain soal mesin, Soerjo juga memastikan bahwa Agya baru akan dilengkapi fitur keselamatan yang lebih tinggi, yaitu anti lock braking system (ABS). “Ada ABS juga. Tapi nanti kami jelaskan lebih detail saat peluncuran,” tutup Soerjo.
