Aksinya di AARC memang sungguh memukau gan, si Bonek Suroboyo ini memang selalu menggila ketika tampil di atas Honda CBR250RR AHRT. Sebelumnya di race ke-1 berhasil podium pertama, lalu kemudian ia start dari posisi pole position. Hanya saja memang perjuangannya harus ngotot dan berjibaku dengan tekanan lawan. Tekanan datang dari pembalap Honda tuan rumah yaitu Yamamoto dan Koyama plus Pebalap Thailand, beberapa kali posisi Gerry Salim harus merosot ke posisi ke-3. Anupab pembalap Yamaha dengan R 25nya ini yang memang terbukti bisa kencang dan mampu berjibaku dengan Honda CBR250RR.
Sementara itu Rheza sempat beberapa kali memimpin balapan namun memasuki tikungan S kecil di lap terakhir hilang kendali dan mengalami crash serta menabrak Yamamoto. Gerry Salim yang berhasil lolos, bertahan di posisi terdepan pun akhirnya finish di posisi pertama diikuti oleh pembalap Yamaha Thailand Anupab Sarmoon dan Tomoyoshi Kaoyama di posisi ke-3. Nah, jatuhnya Rheza dan melorotnya posisi Yamamoto membuat Galang Hendra pembalap Yamaha Indonesia mendapat point lumayan ia menempati posisi ke empat dengan selisih nyaris 2 detik dengan Koyama di posisi 3.
