Walaupun karpet atas, karpet dasar dibuka terus cuma dikeringkan, enggak bakal mempan menghilangkan baunya. Posisinya ada di paling bawah, jadi kabin dibongkar semua, sampai kelihatan bodi bawah, nah itu ada peredam bawaan pabrik, ganti. Selain itu, karpet dasar, jok, pelapis kulit semua dibersihkan dan dikeringkan, dia bisa hilang baunya, Karena sensitif dengan air, maka peredam ini yang membuat bau. Kemudian, pemilik juga harus merespons cepat bagian-bagian dalam mobil yang terkena genangan banjir dengan mencuci dan mengeringkan.
Jadi gan untuk kasus kayak gtu harusnya mengganti peredam orisinal pabrikan mobil. Peredam tersebut menjadi penyebab bau lantaran letaknya berada di paling bawah kabin.
