Mas bro, sebagaimana artikel sebelumnya kita telah tulis bahwa kecelakaan ini dipicu Dump truk yang terguling. beberapa cuplikan video memang memperlihatkan sebuah dump truk terguling. Hal ini terjadi Sampai muatannya keluar di tempat kejadian membuat kemacetan panjang di tol Cipularang ini.
Selanjutnya mas bro, ada juga detik-detik vidio yang di dalamnya ada sebuah truk lain yang tampak kehilangan kendali dan justru menabrak kendaraan lain. Saat itu banya kenddaraan yang tengah berhenti karena macet bahkan. Lalu ada adegan dimana mobil banyak terbakar karenanya.

Yup mas bro, tak berselang lama setelah kejadian tabrakan wal, mendadak ada truk yang tampak oleng. Truk ini datang dengan kecepatan tinggi kemudian menabrak kendaraan yang tengah berhenti di sebelah kanan.
Menurut seorang saksi mata yang merupakan alah satu korban bernama Beny, menyapaikan bahwa ini sedang di dalam mobil dari arah Bandung menuju Jakarta, saat kejadian ini, Senin (2/9/2019) siang. Menurutnya ada satu dump truk yang melaju menabrak mobil di sampingnya. Kudian terjadi efek berantai. Mobil yang ditabrak truk itu membentur kendaraannya.
Bhayanya Tidak Memanfaatkan Engine Brake
Mas bro, ada obrolan menarik seputar kejadian ini. Bahwa menurut Pendiri dan Instruktur Jakarta Defensive Driving Consulting (JDDC) Jusri Pulubuhu, patut diduga truk yang kehilangan kendali itu tak menggunakan engine brake. Alias mengabaikan engine brake. Jadi, saat truk melaju di jalanan menurun, gigi berada di posisi netral. Harusnya kan gigi di posisi 1 atau mungkin 2. INi agar pengereman dibantu mesin atau disebut engine brake. Namun ternyata bapak ini kerap menemukan truk yang tak melakukan engine brake ketika melintas di tol Cipularang KM 90-an. Supir truk melakukan ini qlasannya untuk menghemat bahan bakar.
Masih dari bapak ini, truk yang melintas di sini rata-rata tidak menggunakan engine brake. Jadi dari 10 truk, disinyalir tujuh di antaranya tidak menggunakan engine brake. Jadi saat truk melewati turunan, sopir pasang persneling di posisi netral. Saat itulah kinerja pengereman haru sangat ngoyo, alias kerja keras.. Bahkan pengereman ini dilakukan sampai berasap. Makanya truk bisa kencang banget tidak ada suara mesin.
Ya, kalau secara ekonomis ngirit BBM, namun secara humanis, ini sangat bahaya, bisa membahayakan banyak orang.
Kecepatan terlalu tinggi, tidak jaga jarak aman , tidak memakai engine brake , dll itu cuma salah satu penyebab kecelakaan..
Penyebab Utamanya adalah Truk Overload masih bisa bebas masuk ke TOL..
