Ada Pelumas Daur Ulang bro..
Bicara soal oli lagi nih gan, memang banyak yang beranggapan pelumas bekas hanyalah sebatas limbah dari kendaraan bermotor maupun mesin-mesin industri. Padahal pelumas bekas masih memiliki nilai ekonomis, jika di daur ulang menjadi bahan bakar, maupun menjadi pelumas baru.
Total penjualan pelumas nasional yang melebihi 1 juta kiloliter pertahun. Ini tentu memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi pengelola pelumas bekas. Karena setidaknya, separuh dari total penjualan pelumas itu, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan.
Sales Manager Pelumas PT Pertamina UPMS I, Ibnu Prakoso, memaparkan bahwa oli bekas memang memungkinkan untuk di daur ulang maupun pelumas baru. Dengan potensi penggunaan pelumas yang sangat besar saat ini, tentunya menjadi daya tarik bagi sejumlah perusahaan. Pemerintah juga telah memberikan ijin kepada beberapa perusahaan untuk mengelola limbah oli ini. Salah satunya Wiraswasta Gemilang, yang merupakan group salah satu pabrikan oli bermerek. Aktifitas mendaur ulang oli bekas menjadi minyak olahan dasar (base oil) dilakukan lewat proses penjernihan secara kimia dengan menggunakan sejumlah alat dan cairan pembantu. Base oil hasil daur ulang kemudian ditambahkan zat aditif sesuai dengan spesifikasi oli yang dibutuhkan mesin-mesin.
Namanya juga daur ulang, pasti lebih repot lah. Dibutuhkan proses kimia dengan pencampuran sejumlah bahan kimia termasuk aditif. Tapi meski secara fisik hampir tak bisa dibedakan dengan pelumas asli. Namun kualitas pelumas daur ulang tentunya tak sebaik pelumas baru.
Memang keberadaan pelumas daur ulang ini menjadi ironi tersendiri di kalangan masyarakat konsumen. Karena di satu sisi kegiatan daur ulang merupakan kegiatan yang sangat positif untuk penghematan maupun pelestarian lingkungan. Sementara, di sisi lain masyarakat yang menjadi korban keberadaan pelumas palsu, akibat ketidakjelasan informasi.
Oleh karena itu diharuskan mencantumkan kandungan dalam setiap produk pelumas, agar masyarakat mengetahui prosedur pelumas mana yang memang hasil daur ulang, maupun yang benar-benar baru.

yg jadi masalah adalah oli daur ulang ilegal yg dikemas dg kemasan palsu.
keuntungan daur ulang oli memang mengiurkan, bayangin saja rata2 oli bekas dihargai 1000 rupiah, setelah di proses minimal jadi 15.000 rupiah.
