Beginilah usaha Honda dalam member kepuasan pada konsumen tak tanggung-tanggung. Ngutip kabar dari otomotifnet bahwa PT Honda Prospect Motor berencana untuk meluncurkan Honda All New Civic minggu depan di tanah air, namun ternyata di Amerika, Honda mengumumkan melakukan recall terhadap Honda Civic model tahun 2012.
Ya, ini dilakukan karena adanya masalah pada komponen driveshaft atau as roda. Kabarnya perakitan as roda pada Civic 2012 tidak sempurna, sehingga berpotensi kendur yang mengakibatkan tenaga dari mesin ke roda bisa berkurang.
Honda menghimbau para pemilik untuk menghubungi diler atau bengkel resmi untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan dan bila perlu akan diganti. Setidaknya sebanyak 50.000 unit Honda Civic 2012 ini bakal terkena kampanye perbaikan tersebut.
Fenomena recall memang elanda hamper semua pabrikan mobil, macem BMW seri 3-5baru-baru ini,Opeldengan Captivanya, dan kini Honda Civic yang bukan kali pertama terkena recall, sebelumnya Honda juga merecall Civic 2009 sampai 2011 di China. Sementara Honda CR-V juga ikut terkena recall, sekitar 459.962 unit CR-V dan Civic yang harus ditarik untukperbaikan. Seep yangpenting transparan dan memang bertanggung jawab,good job Honda!
