Toyota Recall Yaris 2010 Karena Masalah Power Steering
Sebuah kabar dirilis langsung dari seluruh website Toyota di seluruh dunia, dan banyak pula website otomotif, yang salah satunya toyota UK/ Inggris bahwa Toyota merecall beberapa produk teruta adalah Yaris yang juga berkembang di Indonesia. The recall affects 5,409 UK-registered third-generation Yaris models and the Verso-S mini-MPV, built between November 2010 and March 2012.
Yaris and Verso-S Recall
We have diagnosed a problem in the coil wire used in a relay within the electric power steering system. This wire may have been stored without the correct humidity control during the manufacturing process. Moisture absorbed by the wire may condense and form droplets on some of the relay terminals. This could lead to a short circuit, prompting the steering system’s control module to suspend power assistance.
Should the problem occur, drivers will experience heavier steering feel, particularly at low speed. A beeping sound will be heard and a warning light will show on the instrument panel.
Yup, Yaris yang ditarik adalah Yaris atau Vitz yang diproduksi antara November 2010 sampai Maret 2012. Recall ini karena masalah pada sistem electric power steering, yang berpotensi membuat setir mobil terasa berat. Secara keseluruhuna Toyota bakal menarik sekitar 130.000 unit di Jepang, 7.050 unit di Jerman dan 7.000 unit di Prancis. Sedangkan sisanya di negara lainnya termasuk Indonesia mungkin, ya kita tunggu aja gan.
