Marquez Rebut Pole GP Indianapolis 2014 DIsusul Dovi dan Lorenzo,Rossi ke 5
Pertarungan MotoGP paruh musim ke dua ini memang menjadi gengsi tersendiri bagi masing-masing pembalap, bahkan karena selama ini yang menang Marquez terus maka Rossi mengatak dengan statmen “Ini Cukup Memalukan Pembalap Lain” karena gak bisa mengalahkan Marquez. Maka menjadi gengsi tersendiri bagi setiap pembalap untuk mengalahkan Marquez. Nah dalam hal ini terlihat Rossi memang begitu bernyali untuk menumbangkan Marquez di paruh ke dua musim ini. Nah ketika kualifikasi jelas akan terlihat bagaimana masing-masing pembalap beradu cepat memperrebutkan posisi start pertama, dan ini bisa kita lihat dari grafik perolehan waktu yang terus meninggkat dari FP 1- 4, monggo kita lihat catatan Rossi dan Marquez selama FP1-4 ini!
Rossi tercatat moncer di FP 1 dengan merebut urutan pertama membukukan catatan waktu 1’34.535 detik , lalu di FP 2 ngendogh di urutan 9 dengan catatan waktu 1’33.598 detik berselisih 0.716 detik dengan  Marquez, kemudian di FP 3 kembali ngebut di urutan 2 dengan waktu 1’32.538, dan di FP 4 turun tipis ke urutan 3 dengan perolehan waktu 1’32.974 selisih 0.583  detik dengan Marquez.
Marquz saat FP 1 berada di posisi 5 tercepat dengan catatan waktu 1’34.885 detik, lalu di FP 2 menempati urutan pertama dengan torehan waktu  1’32.882 detik, dilanjut dengan FP 3  dengan waktu 1’32.862 berada di posisi 6. Lalu FP 4 dengan perolehan waktu 1’32.391 detik berada di posisi pertama.
Ya, memang dari FP 1 sampai FP 2 terlihat sekali grafik perolehan waktu yang terus membaik, AwalnLorenzo mempu memangkas waktu terbaik Marquez di FP 4, kemudian beberapa saat setelahnya Marquez kembali membukukan waktu lebih baik, dengan 1:31.718 detik.
Beberapa saat selanjutnya Justru Lorenzo dan Marquez yang terus berada di perolehan tercepat, sementara rossi masih berkutat di posisi 9, bahkan kemudian berada di posisi 10. Hingga Akhrinya Marquez bisa menempati Pole, disusul  Dovi dan Lorenzo. Rossi hanya menempati posisi 5.
