Ya, demo hari ini dimana para sopir taksi memprotes keberadaan moda transportasi online berubah jadi konflik fontal. Aksi saling sweeping terjadi. Di satu tempat Driver Gojek dipukuli sopir taksi, sementara itu di tempat lain, justru sebaliknya, Driver gojek dan Grabbike mengeroyok dan memukuli sopir taksi. Ya, demo hari ini dari pukul 09.00 WIB hingga 17.30 WIB dengan perkiraan jumlah pendemo sebanyak 8.000 orang yang terpusat di depan Gedung MPR/DPR, Istana Negara, dan Gedung Kemenkominfo Jakarta, jadi ricuh dan anarkis.Pengemudi Go-Jek bernama Siswanto (47 tahun) yang menggunakan motor bernomor polisi B 6154 VJR dikeroyok oknum sopir taksi hingga babak belur di dekat gedung TVRI Senayan, Jakarta, Selasa (22/3/2016). Ia dihadang dan dipukuli oleh sejumlah pengemudi taksi saat melintas di kawasan tersebut ketika usai mengantar penumpang. Wajah Siswanto memar dan berdarah.
Ngutip dari Kompas.com, kejadian sekitar pukul 12.20 WIB. Untungnya Aparat kepolisian langsung mengamankan Siswanto sehingga ia tidak mengalami luka lebih parah.
Sementara itu di lain tempat terjadi sebaliknya, dimana seorang sopir taksi Blue Bird bernomor polisi B 1099 KPG dihentikan massa pengemudi Gojek dan Grab di depan TPU Karet Bivak, Jakarta Pusat. Ia tertangkap dalam aksi sweeping yang digelar pengemudi Gojek dan Grab di kawasan itu. Menurut IVA.co.id, awalnya taksi Blue Bird ini turun dari arah Tanah Abang ke arah Sudirman, dengan melintasi jalan layang di perempatan TPU Karet Bivak. Ketika terkepung penumpang taksi yang ada di dalamnya kabur ke arah Hotel Sangri La, menuju kawasan Dukuh Atas. Sopir taksi Blue Bird dipukuli puluhan pengemudi Grab dan Gojek, dan taksinya pun ikut dirusak.
Warga sekitar turun tangan melerai dan mengamankan sopir itu dari amukan pengemudi Grab dan Gojek itu, sopir pun mengalami beberapa luka memar di wajahnya. Nasib taksinya sungguh aas, kaca depannya pecah berkeping-keping. Kaca samping dan belakangnya retak-retak setelah dipukuli pengemudi Gojek dan Grab. Kedua spionnya pun patah, dan hampir semua bagian badan mobilnya penyok.
