Minggu Ini 78 Personel Kepolisian Tertangkap Pungli di Unit Pelayanan Publik. Kadiv Humas Mabes Polri Irjen Pol Boy Rafli Amar di Warung Daun, Cikini, Jakarta Pusat, Sabtu (15/10/2016) membeberkan hasil tangkapannya terhadap petugas yang melakukan pungli di sektor layanan publik seperti SKCK, SIM, STNK, dan sebagainya. 78 personel kepolisian ditangkap, diduga terlibat dalam 69 kasus yang berberbeda. Nampaknya ini adalah tindak nyata dari Janji Presiden untuk memberantas pungli di Tanah Air.
Ngutip data dari detik yang neulis statmen pak Boy ini, diketahu untuk wilayah Polda Metro Jaya ada 33 kasus dengan 33 personel yang terungkap pungli di layanan publik. Contoh kasus adalah pembuatan SKCK yang tarifnya hanya Rp 10 ribu, misal menjadi Rp 50 ribu maka petugasnya ditangkap.
Selain melakukan penangkapan, polisi juga melakukan upaya pembinaan ke dalam, kepada institusi, kepada sejumlah personel yang bertugas di pelayanan publik. Kapolri sudah bertekad agar hal-hal seperti ini tidak ada lagi karena pungli merugikan kepentingan masyarakat.
