Ekspor Yamaha R 3 ke India Terkendala Standart Emisi. Ini terjadi setelah pemerintah india mulai bulan April 2017 menerapkan peraturan baru terkait standar emisi gas buang pada kendaraan. Kalau di Indonesia baru akan dimulai bertahap tahun 2018 namun baru diterapkan di roda 4, sementara di India peraturan emisi gas buang sesuai aturan Euro IV mulai diberlakukan April 2017.
Praktis aturan ini banyak berefek pada banyak pabrikan dan dealer di India.
- Pertama, mereka langsung obral motor-motor yang gas buangnya masih dibawah standar emisi. Di negara ini menggunakan standara minimal Bharat Stage (BS) IV, atau setara Euro IV untuik roda 2 yang dijual per April tahun ini.
- Ke dua, motor-motor impor kena dampaknya gan. Misalnya saja Yamaha India yang mengimport motor R3 dari Yamaha Indonesia secara CKD, Sementara R3 asal indonesia masih memakai standar emisi BS III atau setara Euro III layaknya di indonesia. Nah karena hal ini, (ngutip dari financialexpress (11/4/2017), untuk sementara Yamaha India menyetop dulu import YZF-R3 dari indonesia. Nantinya bila suah standar emisi Euro IV maka Yamaha India bakal kembal mengimport kembali motor ini secara CKD.
Nah sementara ini ekspor R 3 ini kudu pending dulu dan boleh jadi dalam waktu agak lama gan. Paling cepat bulan Juni 2017.
