Dan apabila dolar semakin tinggi seperti itu, tentu akan mempengaruhi harga jual kendaraan bermotor terutama mobil yang bakal sama tingginya dengan harga dolar saat ini. Dan pasti hal tersebut membuat masyarakat menjadi terbebani.
Ketua Umum Gaikindo Johannes Nangoi mengungkapkan bahwa hal tersebut tentu sangat berpengaruh harga kendaraan roda 4 sebab bahan baku mobil sebagian besar dibeli dengan menggunakan dolar. Jadi kalau dolar masih Rp 14.400, mungkin dalam jangka lama Agen Pemegang Merek (APM) akan membuat adjustment (penyesuaian) lagi. Kalau itu tergantung dari APM-nya masing-masing. Karena kebijakan dan strategi setiap merek akan berbeda-beda. Karena jujur, ini cukup berpengaruh. Namun ini tergantung merek per merek, mereka berbeda-beda. Ada stoknya tinggi, ada yang sedikit.
