Untuk acara final dari gelaran, Honda Dream Cup 2018 dari tujuh seri tahun ini, Yogyakarta bakal jadi tuan rumah untuk seri final gan. Maka AHM bersama dengan Astra Motor Yogyakarta gelar Honda Dream Cup Tour di SMK Negeri 2 Jetis (19/10) gan.
Yup gan, keseruan HDC Tour kali ini Honda mendatangkan Rheza Danica Ahrenz agar mau berbagai pengalaman dengan para peserta . Pekan lalu Rheza baru saja sukses mengunci gelar juara Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) musim ini setelah meraih double podium di dua balapan kelas AP250 yang dihelat di Sentul International Circuit (14/10) gan.
Tahun ini, HDC menghadirkan kelas U-12 yaitu kelas khusus untuk pebalap muda berbakat dengan usia maksimal 12 tahun gan. Ada 7 kelas yang bisa diikuti pebalap untuk adu skill terbaiknya, yakni Sonic 150R / Supra GTR150 Tune Up Seeded, Sonic 150R / Supra GTR150 Standard Pemula – U16, Sonic 150R / Supra GTR150 Tune Up Pemula, Sonic 150R / Supra GTR150 Standard Pemula Terbuka, Honda CBR150R Standard Seeded, Honda CBR150R Standard Pemula dan Sonic 150R / Supra GTR150 Standard Pemula – U12.
Darmawan Tjondrodihardjo Kepala Wilayah Astra Motor Yogyakarta mengungkapkan bahwa dengan HDC Tour 2018 Astra Motor Yogyakarta ingin euforia dan sportivitas perhelatan one make race terbesar di Indonesia ini tak hanya dirasakan di lintasan balap dan sekitarnya. Selain memberikan wawasan mengenai jenjang balap yang dimiliki oleh Honda, energi positif ini juga perlu Astra Motor Yogyakarta teruskan kepada generasi muda lainnya yang mungkin tidak bisa hadir menyaksikan kegiatan secara langsung.
