Pasca kejadian, warga langsung pada berkemrumun menyaksikan kejadian ini. Beberapa diataranya memeberikan pertolongan pada korban. Sementara itu petugas baik dari Kepolisian, Tentara, dan pihak Kereta API atau KAI langsung datang ke lokasi kejadian kecelakaan usai kecelakaan ini berlangsung.
