Kendaraan yang terlibat yakni 1 unit truk kontainer bernopol B 9136 ZF, yang menghantam truk pengangkut sampah bernopol H 8011 XC di jalan lingkar Bawen, Kabupaten Semarang, Kejadian adalah pada hari Sabtu (16/1) pukul 11.30 wib. Sementara data tiga orang yang meninggal dunia dalam kejadian tersebut yakni Joko Sucipto (44), Sutejo (43), dan Jumingan (46) warga Ungaran Timur, Kabupaten Semarang

Kecelakaan maut terjadi di depan PT. Apacinti Corpora yang di kenal dengan Kanindo Bawen, melibatkan truk box dan truk pengangkut sampah terjadi di Jalan Raya Semarang-Solo, Bawen, Kabupaten Semarang.

Diketahui dalam kejadian ini, tiga orang meninggal di lokasi kejadian, sedangkan beberapa orang penumpang truk sampah mengalami luka luka.

Kapolres Semarang AKBP Ari Wibowo dalam statmennya yang dikutip Merdeka menyatakan bahwa insiden lakalantas maut ini terjadi karena truk kontainer diduga rem tidak berfungsi dengan baik. Masih menurut pak polisi ini, 3 korban yang meninggal dunia adalah sopir dan penumpang truk sampah.Para korban meninggal ini mengalami cidera parah pada kepala.
Kronologis Kontainer Hantam Truk Sampah di Semarang
Masih dari pak Kapoles ini, bahwa insiden maut ini kejadian bermula saat truk kontainer yang dikemudikan Irwansyah Saputra melaju dari arah Bawen (selatan) menuju Ungaran (Utara). Ketika samapi di jalan menurun, sopir kontainer menabrak truk sampah yang melaju searah di depannya. Kontainer ini akhirnya berhenti di pinggir jalan pasca truk sampah yang ditabraknya tersebut terguling di tengah jalan.
Horor mas bro, sepanjanga TKP sampah berserakan, sementara korban meninggal terlihat bergelimpangan di jalan. Kejadian ini terrrekam ke dalam beberapa kamera, mulai dari kamera CCTV hingga kamera warga yang kebetulan lewat. Berikut ini vidionya :
Pasca kejadian Kontainer Hantam Truk Sampah di Semarang ini, petugas kemudian melakukan olah TKP dan pemeriksaan saksi. Selanjutnya 2 truk yang alami kecelakaan dievakuasi agar kendaraan lain bisa lewat. Sementara pengemudi truk kontainer mengalami patah kaki dan masih dalam perawatan di RSUD Ungaran.
