Yup mas bro, dilansir dalam sebuah akun Instagram @energisolo yang mengutip Slopos.com bahwa pihak Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Tengah memasang speedcam atau kamera pengukur kecepatan di 6 lokasi wilayah Soloraya nih. Keenam kamera speedcam tersebut yaitu ada 2 unit di ruas jalan raya Solo-Jogja, Ceper, Kabupaten Klaten. Lalu 2 unit lagi di jalan Boyolali-Solo, Kecamatan Banyudono, Kabupaten Boyolali. Dan 2 unit lainnya di jalan Adisucipto, Blulukan, Colomadu, Karanganyar.
Kapolda Jateng, Irjen Pol Ahmad Lutfi, mengungkapkan bahwa speedcam tersebut dipasang di bagian jalan yang memang terbilang rawan terhadap pelanggaran lalu lintas di Soloraya. Selain 6 kamera speedcam di Soloraya, Polda Jateng juga telah memasang CCTV pada 21 titik lalu lintas yang juga dianggap rawan. Pemasangan speedcam dan CCTV ini merupakan sosialisasi tindak lanjut penerapan electronic traffic law enforcement (ETLE) atau tilang elektronik yang di mulai nanti pada 17 Maret.
Jadi, selain berfungsi untuk menertibkan masyarakat terhadap aturan lalu lintas pemberlakuan ETLE nanti adalah bertujuan mengurangi risiko anggota Polri dalam bersentuhan dengan masyarakat saat penindakan pelanggaran lalu lintas. Yang dianggap pelanggaran yakni tidak pakai helm, tidak pakai safety belt, pakai handphone saat berkendara, serta berkendara melawan arus jalan.
