Diketahui memang, pelaku yakni AR alias Albin (19) warga Kecamatan Rantau Utara Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Sumut tersebut telah menjadi buronan polisi sejak beberapa bulan belakangan ini. Dan akhirnya kini 4 bulan berlalu pelaku dapat diringkus polisi ketika sedang tidur siang di rumah kontarakannya di Jalan Baru Bay Pas, Gg.Rambutan, Kecamatan Rantau Selatan pada Kamis (8/4/2021). Kapolres Labuhanbatu AKBP Deni Kurniawan melalui Kasat Reskrim AKP Parikhesi mengungkapkan bahwa pelaku AR telah melakukan aksi pencurian pada Senin (21/12/2020) lalu. Dan korban yakni Dwi Andayani (19) pun langsung membuat laporan ke kantor kepolisian.
Kronologi pencurian tersebut berawal pada pukul 06.30 WIB. Saat korban terbangun, ia melihat pintu belakang rumah dan jendela depannya terbuka. Lalu korban memeriksa barang-barang miliknya untuk memastikan. Ternyata diketahui beberapa unit ponsel Merk Xiomi 6A, ViVo Y 12 dan Oppo New 7 sudah tidak ada lagi di tempat. Dan korbanpun mengalami kerugian Rp4,7 juta akibat pencurian tersebut. Ia pun langsung membuat laporan ke Polres Labuhanbatu. Stelah diselidiki oleh tim 3 Tekab Unit Resum yang dipimpin Kanit Resum Iptu SM Lumbangaol, pelaku pun berhasil diidentifikasi dan langsung jadi buronan polisi. Kini tersangka serta barang bukti ponsel Merk VIVO Y12 juga sepeda motor Honda Beat yang tidak ada plat nya diamankan di Mapolres Labuhanbatu.
